New Years Resolutions 2010

I make a couple of new years resolutions every year and it never fails that I forget about some or all of them. Anyway this year, I'm going to keep them small and not try to go outrageous with the resolutions.

1. Take a picture everyday for the whole year and scrapbook them. ( I think this will be really fun!)

2. Become more organized.

3. Travel more. ( I want to try and take 6 trips this year.)

4. Read more books.

5. Put some money in savings.

I didn't do to bad with last years resolutions. I did read a few books. ( About 5 to be exact.) I didn't lose much of the baby weight however. (Maybe 5 lbs.) I hope that I will do better this year!!

Trick or Treat 2009

This year was the first year that we took Layne out trick or treating. Layne seemed to enjoy it alot. We took him to both of the grandparents houses as well as one of Matt's friends and went trick or treating at the mall. We all had a lot of fun! Layne was exhausted from all the excitement at the mall when we got home.

Layne and Daddy before we headed out to do some trick or treating. Matt painted his face. I think he looks just adorable!!

Holding onto his bucket at the mall. He loved watching all of the other kids dressed up.

Digging in his candy bucket. He's probably trying to find a Reese's.

Pumpkins

Layne and I carved/painted pumpkins this year for Halloween. It was alot of fun. Layne got to paint his very own pumpkin and he did such a good job!!! I carved to pumpkins. It was fun but a lot of work.

Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein dancing. This one took forever to carve!!
Her hand kind of fell of too. :(

I love how this pumpkin turned out!!!

Layne's pumpkin that he painted. It turned out so cute!!! My favorite!!

Sunday Fun

Today my parents came over to help me plant some flower bulbs in our landscaping. (I am so bad at planting flowers. I do NOT have a green thumb at all!!) Layne absolutely had a blast!! He loved helping Grandpa plant tulip bulbs and playing in the dirt. He loves helping with just about anything. ( except laundry. lol)

Helping Grandpa dig a hole.

Layne decided to use some of Grandpa's gardening tools to make the hole bigger. Too cute!!

So happy to be helping Grandpa!!

Family News

I've been a horrible blogger lately. We've been very busy lately and I have lots of pictures to upload but I can't seem to find my camera cord :( Anyways I thought I would make a post anyway!

Layne has been talking up a storm lately. He is so much fun to talk with. Here are some of the words he says:

Dog
Duck
Ducky
Mom
Dad
Lynda
Tater
Tractor
Trailer
Done
Up
No
Out
Kitty Kat
Moo
Nice

Layne's favorite things to do right now are play with trucks and tractors or read books.
