I love watching award shows. My favorite part is seeing all the gorgeous dresses. I didn't have the oppurtunity to see the other award shows so far this year but made a point to watch the Oscars. Here's my favorites and not so favorites in Oscar Fashions this year.
I absolutely loved Kate Winslet's dress. My absolute favorite at the Oscars this year. Altelier Yves Saint Laurent by Stefano Pilati designed this dress. So gorgeous!!!! O and I loved her acceptance speech!! Too funny!
I'm in love with Penelope Cruz's dress!! So pretty!! She looks amazing in it! The dress is vintage Pierre Balmain. ( I think it would look gorgeous as a wedding dress!!)
I absolutely HATED Beyonce's dress. I'm not a fan of mermaid style dresses at all. This one is exceptionally horrible!! I have know clue who designed this dress but the color combo is just hideous!!
I think Jessica Biel is a very pretty girl but NOT in this dress. The dress was designed by Prada and looks like she wrapped herself in a huge napkin or table cloth. So not flattering on her or anyone for that matter!!I thought Hugh Jackman did such a good job hosting the Oscars. The opening act her performed was hilarious!! I thought Joaquin Phoenix was being downright weird while presenting an award. But he was being real bizarre on Letterman a couple of weeks ago so it's no surprise.

Honey, that was Ben Stiller doing an impression of Joaquin Phoenix, which is why it was so odd. :)
By the way, I so agree with your worst dressed picks. Did you see that Jessica Biel wore BLACK covered toe shoes with that dress? Gag. And I'm just tired of Beyonce. She could go away for a long time for all I care. :)
