Last Sunday we were invited to one of Matt's friends son's 2nd birthday party. It was a pool party at one of the hotels in Sioux Falls. I bought Layne a swim suit so that Matt could take him into the pool for his very first swim. Let's just say that it didn't turn out how I was hoping. We didn't get into the pool till after 7 pm (which is Layne's bedtime) so he was really crabby and absolutely HATED the water. I know the next time we take him swimming it's not going to be that late for him!
